Penny D. Hoffman is a part-time outpatient mental health counselor. She has obtained her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh and achieved the Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Pennsylvania. Penny has over 20 years’ experience in the mental health field and specializes in helping people with issues of grief, anxiety, and depression. She has a certificate in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Trauma Institute and Child Trauma Institute. She enjoys running, gardening and scrapbooking to relax. She uses her faith to cope with life’s struggles and is willing to incorporate her client’s faith into their counseling goals as requested along with building on their strengths and supports.
